NEED SOUNDPROOFING?

Green Glue provides superior soundproofing even at low frequencies!

Green Glue can be used over existing drywall.

Low cost soundproofing per square foot

Fast and Easy installation

-Each case contains twelve 29 oz. tubes of Green Glue.

- Each Case will cover 192 square feet at 100& coverage.

Flanking Noise creates problem for Noise Reduction

Noise Reduction Tip:

Keep in mind that sound can reach the next room via several different flanking pathways. Using Green Glue on these surfaces (example: walls, floors and ceilings) greatly reduces this flanking noise and improve your soundproofing dramatically.

Transmission Loss Plots:

The graphs (below) show how much sound a wall will block or dissipate. Understanding transmission loss can help give your customers higher sound isolation performance in their walls.

Be Careful Not to Build a Triple Leaf Wall Assembly

Maintain one large air cavity instead of small air cavities. Small air cavities will cause sound transmission problems, which will decrease the sound isolation performance of the wall dramatically.

One large air cavity is better than multiple small air cavities

Triple Leaf Assembly

Double Leaf Assembly

When upgrading a walls, do not add resilient channel over existing drywall. Instead add a layer of Green Glue and drywall. This will maintain a good double leaf assembly which will yield higher sound isolation performance.
